I also had it happened once or twice, my hypothesis was that the summoned monster you had was too low level and actually lowered the average CR of your party, hence you get more xp because the game think you are lower level than you actually are. It doesn't work everytime though(when I first noticed ...

Magus is right, having summons and henchman raise your whole party's CR which is why when xp is calculated you get less because it appears you are higher level than you really are.

I only get 75 xp from prologue goblins if I am Mage with no familiar, with a Monk I got 20 xp like almost every other ...

Don't say stuff you have no clue about please.

It's ridiculusly simple to test this, find a monster, kill it solo, kill it with summoned, kill it with summon+companions, different xp each time.

Even in the prologue it's was obvious, goblins = 75 xp for mage, with familiar it's only 21 xp.

XP depend on a lot of things.

Given the same monster(let's say Gang Leader in Penninsula):

-Your class determine how much potential xp you can get. Mage/Sorc have a really high potential xp because it's tough to play them in beginning, fighters get low potential xp.

-The higher your level, the ...

Give me power = he give you every stats buff, worthless.

Normal magical item = staff of power

Item of great power = robe of fire resistance, I think it's Bioware's idea of a joke. ;) My character had max persuasion for his level and still need the nymph cloak and a potion of eagle splendor to ...

any skills/actions that use DEX to calculate, for example most rogue skills and parry, will suffer a fixed # penalty from your armour.

Let's say you rolled a 16 on your parry and beat the opposed roll by 1 or 2, and if your armour has a -4 armor check penalty, your end roll will be 12 and actually ...

After 30 AC you'll definitely start noticing how half the monsters just can't hit you anymore. A few will always hit you no matter how high like those duergar warrior punks, but after 30 you'll be pretty much immune to all regular monsters and after 35 you'll be safe from giants.

It's perfectly possible to kill Belial at that point, my character Monk 1/Druid 19 at end, around Monk 1/Druid 12 I think during Charwood took out Belial no problem(primary weapon unarmed), although Tomi's sneak attack did 90% of the damage I was just there to distract the demon. Even using unarmed ...

In term of raw power the Princes have the edge, they also tend to survive better when being mobbed(Chan's barrier is absolute carnage). Planetar is better in normal 1 vs 1 situation because of their spells and versatility, unless it's 1 vs 1 against super baddie that can chew through summons like ...

I just don't see why some people would dissect a good intentioned sentence for hidden meaning especially when it came from someone who admitted to be not very fluent in English.

Actually I take offense at that. Dave G worked hard on those patches and I do believe they should be included in the original game. There are a lot of people supporting Dave's patches at the official Bioware forum and we have a lot of fun with them. I was one of the testers for Dave's improved ...

Well since all the romance dialogs are written by men, and these men are probably computer geeks(no offense Bioware ;) ), and geeks generally have bad luck in relationship(no offense geeks ;) ), maybe they were carrying out their inner frustration when they created the romances? :p
