Death spell is best against them, kills them en masse. But if you don't have that, cloudkill, deathfog both work. Also chaotic commands.

Yeah the spellcasting side of it is nice but the shapeshifting side kinda sucks, in my experience so far. Sarevok kills about 5 enemies for every 1 enemy that i kill in greater werewolf form. I figure if i'm gonna be mainly spellcasing even though i'm a shapeshifter, i might as well start again with ...

Anyone played a shapeshifer to high levels in ToB? Was wondering how they fare at high level, solo or with a party of only 2-3. Does greater werewolf have the armor,thac0, and attack speed to do well, or at least hold his own?

Also can someone tell me what it means when your str at the start has extra numbers? Like when it says 18/65 and stuff like that? whats the highest str can go naturally when you roll your starting stats?

Can monks use priest scrolls? Can they use wands? Can they kill Kangaxx 2nd form with quivering palm, and if they can't, how does a solo monk kill kangaxx?thx in advance.

Anyone solo'd a priest of lathander through the game? Or any type of cleric for that matter, as long as it isnt multi/dualed? How do they fare as solo'ers?

Hey all. Just installed BG2 again after deleting it months ago, gonna go get ToB today. About the only class i never played or solo'd with was the assassin. I'm gonna go thru solo with one, so i just wanted a couple tips from experienced assassin players.

I fought his party with my solo sorcerer, i cast improved haste, then tensers, then used a shapechange scroll to change into a greater werewolf or whatever it is. Completely ripped the whole party in quick time.

berserker mage owns it

Immunity to practically every mind altering spell several times a day whenever you need it and kickass AC vs. a tiny bit of extra damage...there really is no choice.
