Baldur's Gate 1 relies much on two factors: The groundbreaking D&D ruleset and it's return as a computer rpg and introducing The Bhaal Saga storyline. Since it relies so much on the story, It doesn't feel new once you've completed it.

Now, if I were to play the game trough again, it's just a run ...

Baldur's Gate 2.

BG 1 was extremely good on first run - but it has no replaying value. BG 2 however, it can be played trough many times and still find lots of nifty details. And besides, the npcs in Bg 2 are just much more better and world feels more diverse.

I roleplay a powergamer o/

If it's a single player run, I usually spend lots of time to get a feeling of the characters and npcs around me and enjoy following the story.

On multiplayer it tends to go to 100% powergaming because of the game mechanics that in my opinion doesn't offer a decent ...

Stories in Planescape

Hello all.

First of all, I really liked the stories which were told by npcs in PS:T. Best stories of Yves the talechaser really made me think about things and some made them laugh and sob. Almost same with Reekwinds stories too :D

And now to the point. I'd really like to get access somehow to ...

If you want to try something different, you could try Ironborn-race from the Book of Iron Might. You can modify that race suitable for almost every class and it has some nice roleplaying-elements too. Although your DM has to accept it first.

I love to read books. I read at least 4 books very week, mostly fantasy but sometimes historical novels. Also I play computer games and xbox, mostly RPGs but also some FPS and sport games. I like to play Pen and Paper RPGs (D&D, Cyberpunk, Call of Cthulhu, Runequest mostly). And as a part of these ...

Try not to laugh

Try to watch this animation for a minute without laughing. It proves to be extremely hard (for me at least). Make sure you have your speakers on so you can hear the sounds.

He was somewhere in balmora. His house had different name than fast-eddies name and it was located somewhere in the edge of the city (iirc somewhere on the higher ground.) I'm not sure but think you need the staff of silver peace to get him be your mouth.

While playing Banewarrens-adventure, our party (Half-orc fighter/barbarian, elf rogue/wizard, dwarven cleric and human monk(me). All 7th level.) bumped into some really angry urban werewolves while exploring dungeon. We were all little injured, but we were still winning the fight until a really ...

I don't know if it's appropriate name for a character due to loss of many lives because of this disease, but I had this angry monk named Sars which I loved to play. And the name was good for. (No offence to anyone).

And the only female character i've ever played was this very charismatic Paneppa ...

Document said something bout ...

Good 1st-level adventure

Could you recommend any good 1st-level adventures? It shouldn't be too short, but something like Sunless Citadel (Which we have already played). And it should be downloadable from web.

I'm just starting as a DM and i'm not very good at making own adventures, so recommends? Any one? :)

Half-orc barbarian/fighter who likes gnolls very much. He likes them cooked and fried after he has sawed them to little pieces.
