I felt really self-concious the first time I started dancing at the confession and everyone stopped and walked away...so self-concious in fact that I started gunning everyone down with my anaconda!!! Of course I had to reload the game after that, but it was worth it simply to dance around a pile of ...

After you break out of the vampire testing facility at Fu Syndicate, the Mandarin starts running madly into the corner of a wall--which considering the awful AI in this game isn't so unusual--but when I try to feed on him and suck him dry I end up jumping straight through him! It's weird when you're ...

I'm not sure if there is a definate formula to getting Jeanette in the sack, as I've never seen one posted anywhere...not sure if what clan you are makes a differance (would she sleep with a Nosferatu? I mean I know she's easy but come on...).

Most of the firearms in VTM:B are useless, but the .44 magnum is very powerfull and probably (my opinion) the best gun in the game. It's accurate up to a far distance, reloads quite fast and has an alternate "fan" mode for mowing down groups of baddies.

I have to disagree that bloodlines was too short...it took me quite a long while to finish first time around, but maybe that's just because half (two thirds?) of the game was loading in between zones ;)

I have to admit that I don't know much about the pen and paper VTM (apart from the vast tomes of knowledge pennypincher has been kind enough to share with us :D ) but the whole concept of eastern vs. western vampires seems very racist to me. So if you happen to be asian kine, there's no chance of ...

I'm not sure if it's possible to hit the bat-sheriff with anything other than a ranged weapon (colt anaconda works best for me). If you didn't put any points in ranged and don't have a magnum at hand, I'm not sure what else you can do...there are other enemies on the ground, vampires who attack you ...

[QUOTE=matthew13]For the gunfighter type, I'd say there is also a sense of being in the middle of the action. For the thaumaturgist, however, this can quickly turn into a slaugtherfest where your character is unlikely ever to be in any serious danger. If you go for that sort of thing, then you'd ...

Interesting points, especially about celerity and obfuscate (I've yet to try those), but the thing is, I never needed to get any more than level 3 in thaumaturgy to beat down my enemies. Where as most disciplines require much higher levels to be really useful, bloodstrike (level 1) and purge (level ...

Bloodlines biased for Tremere?
I've finished this game the first time as a male Tremere and found it to be fairly easy, mainly because thaumaturgy is so insanely powerful. Even though I messed up a lot (wasted points on haggle, wasted money on guns) thaumaturgy always pulled me through, especially against the bosses. Bloodstrike ...

I liked Grout's mansion--with all those masked psychos, crazy puzzles and stairways going nowhere--trully designed in the Malkavian spirit! The final touch was having tape recorders lying all around the house, detailing Grout's scholarly expoits and spiraling psychosis. Voice acting/storytelling is ...
