I have to say this; I don't support the EE or BG3 efforts at this point. My opinion is, the modding community, and the dnd player base is BG3. We've kept this game alive and made it a legend. Everyone else abandoned it. Now I'm supposed to get all giddy and jump on the bandwagon because some ...

NWN was a great game in its time. I played the first campaign and second expansion through solo, and played for a little while on a PW sever which was highly populated (was before World of Warcraft came out) I purchased all the modules that came out, but never really played them, they were just neat ...

No Cleric? No Cupids Arrow Quest?

Opps, so I don't have a cleric in my party, and I slew the evil cleric from the moathouse. I checked and rechecked the lists of NPC's for clerics, and can't find a one, and I don't have one in my party (monk, and ranger, with Otis and the Sage).

The point is, I have to use the heal scroll on the ...

I agree you BannerDog. I've played out the infinity engines, and many others, including Guild Wars, and NWN, which are all great, but they really can't compare to this. Its also nice to have a greyhawk game out, which didn't exsist before. Unfortunatly I don't think they'll make any sequels, the ...

watchers keep items

I was playing my protagonist barbarian with a bastard sword mastery prof. and only entered the first level of the Watchers Keep to aquire the +3 bastard sword there. I took brother Pols ritual scroll and the holy symbol back to my Keep and stored them in a chest by the forge.

They disappeared ...

I think there is a sticky section for mods, but this is where I get mine from.

You cannot play any infinity engine without the ease of use mod, at least I don't think so, its like playing clunky first edition dnd. Its neat but you get sick of it after a while.

the site is http://www.rpol.net , but if you know of a better one to meet up at let me know.

It is in the Fantasy Section under the title "Infinity Engine Tourney"

That is really just a ruse to get peoples attention, I would love to get a party together and do SOA again in multiplayer.

I had one ...

well lets get something together then.

I know of a site (free) where hundreds of gamers gather to play, post by post, dnd,...perhaps we could set up shop there with an infinity engine section, and maybe even set up tourneys and an ongoing game where parties of players could compete against each ...

gathering to play bg2?

So does anyone have a regular group together that plays bg2 online?

I've played NWN online, and mastered someones persistent world they built, but it is pretty lame, I would like to blaze through bg2, or icewind dale with some folks. Any gathering sites for players?

Lower Resist & Malasion scrolls please

I was using Aerie for my mage for quite a while, she sucked up all my scrolls. Then I finally finished the quest to get Edwin to join your party and actually I'm wishing for the Elf back again. Edwin has no Divination spells, and he failed on the Greater Malasion, and Lower Resistance scrolls, and I ...

I just started up again myself, and I'm already at the ice temple. This is an incredible game.

The walkthrough here on game banshee is pretty extensive and covers everything if you get stuck.

I would recommend the ease of use mod it makes the replay a lot better.

I tried everything and nearly teared my hairs out. This game is unplayable without the teleport cheat, nevermind a ...

My Party

The first (and only) time I've finished IWD I had a Ranger, Paladin, Cleric, Druid, Thief and Mage. All Human.

Pretty standard party.

This time around, and I've just started a new party recently, adding the Ease of Use mod, & Dale Keeper (just to change avatars, not to cheat).

I went ...

Getting Magic Arrows

Unfortunately these aren't for sale. You can scrap up a few before Dragons Eye, but not many.

In the final levels of Dragons Eye, you can collect a bundle. This is how you do it.

March in a cleric first under the sanctuary spell. Then send the rest of your party in behind ...
