The reason that Ranger/Cleric gets all druidic spells could be that Ranger's get access to all animal, plant etc. spheres normally reserved for druids. It's just that cleric side of them allows casting of higher level spells compared to being limited to only 1-3rd level spells when being a ...

Yup, that's the way to go.

I'm back in amkerthan (whatever?) after just finishing off Sendai & bluedragon guy.

I go to the bar and these 3 mercenaries attack me straight away. I attack & after 3 seconds what's left of them is a wet spot on the ground while the barmaid goes "No more for you"

Use wand of monster summoning (remember to recharge those!) to keep 2-3 of them busy while hacking away with your fighters. Then again - you could just use (probably - can't remeber anymore) the wand of cloudkill / Invisibility from SoM tactic. (which, btw. works almost agains anything)

I've got a simple tactic for all of you. Ever heard of spells called 'imprisonment' or 'maze' ... If you have - try them out & if you haven't - find out!

Just my two cents ... All of you, except a couple, probably know these things already.

Killing those 'optional' dragons & main bosses is way too easy if you just know the right tactic (not talking about cloudkilling firkraag etc.). f.eg. agains firkraag I mean, with a bard (a blade hopefully ...

Some traps in ToB require amazing trapdiasarming skills, so it probably isn't a bug - you are just not skilled enough. Try drinking potions of MasterThieving (or whatever?) / perception / mind focusing (to increase dex) etc. and see if then you can disarm the traps.

well ... if one wanted a real fruitcake, one should do a ChaoticNeutral Jester/WildMage multiclass - if that was possible?

I've noticed the same thing too. When I equipped them to Korgan who's dualwielding with 4 attack / round they didn't do anything =( - the same thing with Keldorn 3 attacks / 2H sword. BUT when I equipped 'em to my Ranger 9th / Cleric who ...

If u can't control him when he's just turned to edwina (his circle is blue?) try talking to him etc.

Anyway. All of you have forgotten that in the original Baldur's Gate - there was a 1st level wizard spell called 'Summon Cow' which isn't implemented in BG II!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't remember it's school or anything, but it's definately one they've left out.
