Have you completed the Sabbat warehouse quest in Santa Monica? Because that's the quest you need to complete in order to be able to move to Downtown. If you have completed it then all you need to do is find the yellow taxi cab (Face the entrance of Asylum and look right and you'll see it) and talk ...

To my knowledge there are four havens you can acquire; The original Santa Monica Haven, A room in the Skyline Apartments building (Any Clan), A suite in the Tremere Chantry (Tremere Only), and a haven in the sewers (Nosferatu Only.)

Favourite Discipline?

I aint seen this covered before so I'll go for it. What's everybody's favourite discipline? Be as specific as you like or just mention a general area.
Personally my favourite is Celerity, I just love boosting my celerity to 5 and dashing inbetween my enemies, taking them apart with my katana ...

Nosferatu Embrace

I suppose people who have never played the game before could consider this spoilers so... *Spoilers*

Okay, well I decided that I wanted to play as a Nossie so I could look at the dialogue options that I've heard some people talk about, but when I watched the opening movie it left me a little ...

Wow, alot of great ideas about the Sheriff. All the different bloodline links and I especially like the idea that the entire game is a Ravnos induced hallucination =D But it seems that the answer to the Sheriff's clan is a difficult one to answer; I haven't seen any official answers anywhere so if ...

As soon as I crossed the wall into the graveyard I never saw the hooker again, but when I talked to Romero I got the reward and everything and then ushered me out so he could 'have his way,' with her, although as I left I found myself thinking, 'who?'

Yeah I think troika slipped up a little there, VV mentions to be careful using your disciplines around the hunter. But I don't see any problem in using one if it's discreet and as the only person seeing you use it is a mortal who's already aware of supernatural powers and is about to die.

Yeah, to my knowledge the game supports 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768, I run it on the second option and it works just fine.

0.0 Definately no problem there then. In that case I'd suggest reinstalling the game to see if that helps, and if it doesn't I'd suggest downloading a patch to see if that helps at all.

Yeah I discovered that when I decided to use celerity to polish her off a little faster. Although I don't see how using a completely silent discipline in the near abandoned lower level of a sleaze store then killing the only witness constitutes 'noise'.

What are your system specs patrick? When it comes to crashing on this game, it's usually down to an insufficient graphics card or your visual memory is too low or something. When I first got the game I had high RAM and a more than decent processor but it crashed on loading because I was running on ...

I picked up an unusual glitch recently, which is starting to get abit annoying. On my new character whenever I walk down one of the roads leading from the Venture tower to the Last Round bar in Downtown I hear the sounds of a women screaming as if she's running away from something. I look all around ...

Well that does make a lot more sense if you incorporate some of the pen and paper aspects of the game into it, so I guess it's most likely he's a gangrel. Although I think Smiling Jack put it best when he said 'It's like somebody embraced an ugly gorilla.'

The Sheriff.

I dunno if this has been asked before, but I've just been wondering. Does anybody know what clan the Sheriff belongs to because I've got no idea, I mean he uses Animalism in the tutorial to summon a spectral wolf, as well as dissolving a few sabbat with an outstretched palm (Although I think that ...

I dunno if this applies for the part your on or whether I'm talking about something that's ahead of where you are but hopefully it's before, it also depends on what patch you've got.

I've never bothered with the sewer route so I can't help there. First time I did it I ran in guns blazing, or rather swords swinging and I found it easy to get in, but when I was in I kept the same tactic and was killed pretty quickly. When I did it again I adopted the stealth method with a sneak ...

Missing Quest?

I didn't find that many points in the game where seduction was useful, I mean there is the obvious one in the clubs - feeding from the kine you seduce. Although watching the reaction of the gate guard when I tried to seduce him with a male character was quite funny >.>
