@Tricky

Although I can't think of any reason as to why you should kill Gorion, I'm kind of curious. Did you actually succeed in killing Gorion at level 1? If so - was it difficult - and what were your tactics?

Oh and @ Henry, I'm about 99% sure that to get Anomen to attempt his test you talk to one of the 3 or so knights in the center of the main room, and not any of the people in the small side rooms

@Jedi - I'm about 99% sure that you're right :)

(I played a Paladin at the time I had Anomen in my ...

Congratulations

I've been following your posts and it's nice to hear that you got through the game and that you find the game as extraordinarily good as most of the members of this forum.

The Bronze Pantalettes........are the final component of one of the imho most well thought out easter eggs ...

Rgd. Anomen and Radiant Heart

This may be totally wrong and unuseful - it has been some time since I had Anomen in a party - but I seem to recall, that I had some "problems" myself at this point. IIRC my mistake was that I only talked to the knights in the "mail hall" of The Radiant Heart. I ...

Searched the forum for "malchor harpell" and came up with these (among others). Apparantly your proposed solution won't work - you will have to either install a mod or you could follow the instructions from the BG oracle known as UserUnfriendly. I'll insert the links - hope it works.

Got tired, so ...

Are you absolutely sure that you have been all over the place? He should be very easy to find - unless he for some obscure reason (bug) isn't there. He is standing almost in the middle of the largest room on the third floor next to a couple of beds and some chests. To the left on the screen is a ...

It is correct, that you have to enter the sewers under the Temple District, but the warhammer isn't exactly found in the sewers but in an area you will pass through while solving the quest related to "The Unseeing Eye".

If you're interested in a link to the GB Walkthrough with the exact location ...

As I understand the second question given, it is not a question of which actual weapon is the best in BG but a general question on how to compare different weapons.

Unfortunately I cannot claim to be an expert on the matter, but when comparing weapons I usually look at two stats: Damage and speed ...

It is said that they are sometimes found inside poultry - especially if you are somewhere in The Umar Hills.

Very slightly spoilerish

This might be a stupid answer but in short: Any! Just pick the characters you like - some with spellcasting abilities and some fightertypes - and you are ready to go.

If you're playing an Inquisitor, you should - as I think you're suggesting - leave out Keldorn. This has ...

You are so right. Acid it is!

Jan Jansen had memorized 4 Melf's acid arrows and they are working fine. But - wait - didn't I say there were 5 trolls.......Great!

Desert Trolls

I post this well aware that there is a post about embarrasing moments. Maybe I should be posting there instead :)

I am at the moment surrounded by 5 desert trolls and can only get them to near death. What is the key ingredient when they get to near death? It seams that fire doesn't work as it ...

There are some items you can equip to protect your party members (or at least some of them) from being held. For instance Arbanes Sword +2 (short sword) which you get fairly early in the game (random encounter when travelling between the different parts of Athkatla). I believe the Ring of Free ...

Trouble getting through a door - minor spoiler

After defeating Captain Haegan & Co. at the Slavers Compound, I took the key from his corpse and opened the door to the room to the north. I was attacked by a troll, killed it, but I can't get through the door and inside the room. I can click inside the room but somehow the door "seems to be to ...
