If you follow the Main Quest or otherwise fight against Super Mutants you will have an endless supply of (chinese) assault rifles, hunting rifles and miniguns. There's absolutely no reason at all to waste caps on repairing these incredibly common weapons. I usually don't even pick them up since i've ...

This pushed me to finally play PST. I'd played it a bit ages ago but i was too young back then (English isn't my native language). Really enjoying it so far, maybe even as much as BG2. :)

Character-wise

1. Jan Jansen. Hilarious, especially at the end of TOB when you get to choose. Also the way he messes with Anomen is brilliant. Plus, the whole thing with Minsc and Boo...

2. Edwin. He picks fights with lots of people, probably because they're just "simians".

3. Imoen. Obviously ...

Here's a simple guide to Weapon Specialisation:

1. Unmodded BGTutu/BG2. Not worth it.
2. You play normal BG or have installed True Grand Mastery. Lots of Fighter levels are actually useful.

I've listed the benefits here . What it comes down to is that in BGTutu or BG2 they nerfed WS. Now the 3 ...

If you import your character from the OC to Hordes of the Underdark you temporarily lose all your items but keep your XP. Not sure about the gold.

Btw, here's another good reason not to use INT as a dump stat:

INT only protects against Mindflayers, it does nothing beside that. High stats and relevant classes give extra dialogue and options in NWN and the IWD games, not in the Baldur's Gates

Monk? Use the Kama, it allows you to keep your "unarmed fighting" bonuses.

Rogue? Go with 3 Levels, 4 Levels in Fighter and the rest divided over Weapon Master and Fighter. It depends on what you're playing, the Original/Official Campaign or SOU/HOTU. In the OC you can get to Level 17, in SOU to ...

Hmm, i don't think you can import BG1 characters unless you have access to a BG2 character directory. Since the game is online, i don't think you can.

Why not buy it anyway? I've seen both for 15 euros, so you could probably get both BG1 and 2 for 30 bucks. Unless you complete the games in 2 months ...

You can acquire the stronghold of your current class. I seem to recall you can get 2 strongholds this way.

Clerics are great in the original campaign, as there are a lot of undead around. Thieves are handy too (traps and stuff), though you only need a couple of levels. I wrote this post for IWD2, but since NWN uses the 3rd edition rules too, almost everything goes for it as well. Basically, a pure Cleric ...

Lol, you have to put the items in in the right order. The pipes and Quallo provide hints, though you can just peek at the walkthrough here.

Click on a pipe once and it reveals the item it needs. Click on a pipe again to drop that item in it. Just get the order right.

Fighter/Mages combinations benefit from protective spells so it's generally a good idea to use 2 weapons or a 2-handed weapon with them (instead of weapon/shield).

Level 9 or 13. Level 13 gives you an extra 1/2 Attack (and an extra proficiency point, of course).

Lol, if you don't install the unmissable G3 Fixpack because some spells were disallowed due to alignment/class restrictions, that is very, very silly. I mean, jeez, just look at the list of fixes .
