Fallout 1, running over and getting captured by the Super Mutants and running back after finishing, it is I think 10K XP... I remember it was insane... Until you are almost out of time and need to get them their water chip.

Fallout 2... Getting the Power armor immediately after leaving the village ...

Personally I liked Fallout 3 best, I like the Super Mutants and Enclave running amok. The story line was better as well. It also has a more desolate feel than New Vegas, though I definately LOVE the companion wheel.

The Cazadors are just too annoying to deal with.

What is your favorite Fallout Game, and why if you like

Both annoying and helpful at the same time. If you are on a quest, there is an arrow showing where you need to go. It is totally bizzaare that you know the "hidden hermit" who died in a place unknown is over there, and you can just find your way right to him.

There is no "hidden hermit", just used ...

Best weapon IMO is the deathclaw Gauntlet. If you get paralyzing punch, if you can sneak up behind something you can kill most things with a single blow, if not, you knock them to the ground for 30 seconds.

I love the games, they are alot of fun for me. I am not a FPS type of person, so I like the abiity to fall back on VATS, though I can still use my scoped weapon to take out the mobs at a distance.

The major problem I have is the mapping. Vaults in particular are multi leveled and it can be tough ...

Stealing... There is a way of cheating if you are going to steal. If you see <DETECTED> you will get caught. If you use the "Z" key to move an item around like if you need to move a box or something, you can carry it to somewhere that you are <HIDDEN> then take it without being caught.

Glitch

I had a glitch like that, I fell beneath the world... sort of.. I could walk just about anywhere, but I could not get back up to the surface. I tried to jump clear of some of the mountain areas, and even tried a fast travel, it wouldn't allow it.

Hardcore, I did a restart once to try it without Hardcore, and I just started over again.

There is so much food and water in the game, that it is never really any effort to get any. I just got my survival up to 25 just to make Gecko steaks to start me off...

Does anyone know about how many dog tags it takes to get your up to being "Liked" by the legion. I really want to get the glasses... I am just pick pocketing them right now... I really don't want to kill any NCR...

So without glasses, PER = 5, with glasses PER = 8? I'm assuming you were wearing glasses when you leveled up to get the SNIPER perk. Seems like a rip-off that the Four Eyes perk counts against you if you aren't wearing glasses, but it doesn't count for you if you are.

I found out the hard way and had to start over again.

Starting Perception 5
Perception Implant +1 = Perception 6
Four Eyes advantage -1 without glasses, +2 with glasses... it means my TRUE perception was only a 5.

Limit on implants?

Are you limited to the number of implants you can have?

Could you get the implant for each of your SPECIAL stats AND one for HP regen AND the other for raising your DT?

I have some questions regarding the implants.

1. Are the implants just to effect stats or do they do other things as well?

2. If they effect stats will they allow you to aquire some perks that have a stat requirement. I know that a perception of 5, 7 when wearing glasses was not enough to allow me ...

Does your charisma determine the number of followers you can have in New Vegas? I am not at my computer at home but I am pretty sure I have a CHA of 4.
