So you're saying if you throw a fire ball with X amount of power, at someone with 50% resistence, how much damage is actually inflicted correct?

I would assume 1/2 of what X is but I'm not certain.

This happened to a shield of mine(non-quest item) I picked up two sheilds that were identical repaired them and dropped the one the was equipped. I hated being a vampire because I was in the middle of a large quest when it happened. But if I could have choosen when to be one, and not be immune it'd defenently be now. Being a Vampire is good for one thing, spelunking. Use it to cave hop and use it when its at its full effect!

Turning the slider down will help, but its better to play with it up because I feel bad when I have to turn it down. Also goblin shamens/SI counterparts are soo hard to kill if its even possible at level 44 I dont go anywhere near them unless I have to.

Go thru each dungeon as quickly as possible selling the stuff you find. Or my favorite, make potions, sell those and raise you skill at the same time. Once you buy all the houses there is no real need for money anymore, at least for me.

+1 on not being able to join, but they do have a stronghold in one dundgeon somewhere, can't remember off hand.

He's invisible, j/k. Try reloading somewhere before that if possible. try to delete the temp memory, if it don't work and yea... then try in the house(don't know why) and in the basement maybe.

Imperial sewers are great as above, also try goblin lairs they keep rats as pets.

Save the arena for the final deadra quest, as for the argonian blood unless you enjoy being a vampire, that 200 gold assault is a fine price to pay to not be one lol I whacked the shopkeeper and found a guard quicker then she could I was so eager.
