swimming

Two questions:

Does encumberance affect your ability to swim, can you swim faster with less stuff in your inventory?

And why does my unarmored skill increase when I'm fighting slaughter fish in the water? I'm wearing armour.

thanks.

Thanks fellas, I will try your suggestions.
I'm not too worried about Arille's dislike for me as I'm sure that there are better merchants out there but that guy in the Excise office will train Sneak and he just hates me!
Hehehehe, live and learn I guess.

Anyway to raise a disposition of 0?

In screwing around with speech-craft, I have effectively reduced the disposition of most of the shopkeeps/trainers in Sarda Neen to 0. Now they want nothing to do with me and I keep getting refused service. Is there anything I can do to get back on their good sides without using persuation, which I ...

Now that Ive trapped a soul, what do I do with it?

My first attempt at soul trapping worked! I used a summon skelly scroll then used a scroll of gem-feeding on the skelly, then I hacked the skelly down and now I have a petty soul gem (skeleton). But what now, my enchant is only 5 so I probably cant do any enchanting but if I were to try, what would ...

Im using a GeForce2 MX (which isnt even supported according to the box) with the latest Detonator driver (28.32)and I havent had a crash yet. So far the game is running fine for me, but Im getting worried that when my upgrades arrive, I'll start to have problems.

Scrolls of Icarian Flight

Are these scrolls supposed to be a joke or do they serve some purpose further down the road.? I thought Acrobatics was supposed to prevent you from taking damage from falls, but every time I use the scroll I plummet to my death.
LMAO when "whats-his-name" first fell out of the sky.

You have to go into a submenu like inventory or game options. The rest button is on the bottom right hand side of the screen. It looks like a closed eye.

See now thats a pretty good idea to start with.
XP can be awarded for any number of things, not just killing monsters. If a PC makes a good descision that will later affect the flow of the game, award them. If a PC gains the favor of a powerful NPC (like a King or High Priest), award them.
But dont ...
