Large image: 110w x 170h @ 24 bit bmp
Small image: 38w x 60h @ 8 or 24 bit bmp

Those are the requirements for bg1 portraits, which of course work in bg2. Try using paint.net or irfanview.

Ha! I just refreshed the page and OldSoul's avatar changed. LOL.

Just save the image you want to your desktop, and then upload it as a custom avatar.

The Escapist : News : Skyrim Features "Perk" Trees Instead of Weapons Skills

Makes sense. I wonder how it will end up working out.

In Chrono Trigger you could walk away from people talking.

I assume the "holding breath" thing is just a fancy way of saying you consume more stamina when you hold down the button, which has always been a feature.

I was more referring to the new spells. I don't know why they bothered to list the ...

Really? We don't have a bunch of people majoring in American history over here. It's usually general history with maybe a specialization. I don't think we even have American folklore courses.

Monkey Island 2/Special Edition
Caesar 3
Icewind Dale 1
Morrowind
Monkey Island 1/Special Edition
Tomb Raider 1/Anniversary

Those are the only games I really go back and play regularly so I guess that would be my top. I don't think I could reasonably put 25 up there because I haven't really played ...

I shouldn't do this, but I will.

-dynamic shadows

Like Oblivion originally had!

-if a weapon and a shield or two weapons are equiped, you cannot cast any spell (quite logical indeed)

Like Morrowind!

-it seems that smithing can only be done in forges (you cannot repair your equipment ...

There was a way around the morons. Go down the mountain/hill on the opposite site, then circle around the lava. You can reach the tower without ever getting being forced into dialogue with them, giving you ample time to clear the place out. After that it's just a matter of backtracking and picking ...

The only challenge I ever found in Oblivion was trying to keep those morons in Kvatch from dying - so yes I would say allies were a big part of the game. :p

I always thought Ocarina of Time had a scary game over screen. You get a close up of Link taking his last breath and dying. It's even scarier if you're killed by one of the zombie things, because then you cannot help but imagine how they'll eat his corpse afterwards.

I'd like to think someone comes to gamebanshee and says "I think I'll search for sex invites". Then they say "Well, I think I'll have a go at orgies". In another part of the world, some child who just got the game comes to the forum and says "I'll search for Fable III!" and ends up with orgies and ...

High dex is sooooo important in this game. It makes things so much smoother.

Grasshopper has a great first point. High dex + bow (either fighter or ranger class, and if you want to be an elf they have an added bonus) will definitely make you progress quicker.

For your fighter mage, basically make ...

Flash based inventory? Ugh. Well, maybe they're going for something where you don't have to spend a lot of time in the inventory and dealing with menus. Since you can toggle off the hud apparently, maybe a flash inventory won't be that annoying.

I don't know how I feel about the game being as large ...
