A DVD-Rom Drive should only cost you $20-$30 on amazon, or less, and they are really easy to install yourself. The only thing you need to know is if your old one way IDE or SATA (most likely).

If you don't want to do that, then Oblivion is available on Steam for $20, or $25 if you want the GOTY ...

Need a lot more info before you can answer, such as what version of D&D you are playing and what class of spellcaster your friend is using. There are lots of ways to decide whether or not it hits, sometimes its a basic to hit roll, other times is a saving through. it all depends on the spell and its ...

If you are looking for an Action RPG, you might consider Divinity 2, with its re-release tomorrow. I found it a lot of fun, if you don't take it too seriously.

Actually, give the companions you have your B equipment, the items you've just outgrown, but are too good to sell immediately. And don't forget to level them up. At some point you made need one or all of them.

Exactly. 30 XP for a kill is 30 XP for everyone. 25 for unlocking a chest gets everyone 25. All recent Bioware games have worked this way, such as Jade Empire, the Mass Effects, and I believe Neverwinter Nights.

First off, experience is not really divided by all party member, it is given to all your characters equally once they join your group, regardless of whether they are in your party or not. When you are awarded X amount of XP, all your character get that ammount of XP. Going it alone is not going to ...

I think those flashes of light are supposed to be sunlight reflecting off sand type of glint, but they do look a little odd and random.

The Wild Wasteland trait unlocks weird things in the mojave wasteland, such as the the fridge with the skeleton, hat and whip in it (an Indiana Jones reference if you hadn't caught it). They are scattered about and are generally just fun little silly things. Having these presented as a trait gives ...

I remember Fallout 1 and 2 being fairly slow starters as well, but in Fallout 1 and 2 you start out with clear and important goals. The goal in New Vegas and in part 3 seems to be somewhat less important, particularly at the start. It very much seems that at the beginning of NV, your goal is simply ...

In Fallout NV food and drink do not provide immediate health as they did in Fallout 3. Only stimpaks do that, and not in hardcore mode. Instead they provide health over time and say so in their discriptions. For example, Sunset Sasperilla provide 2 health a second for 20 seconds, which means ...

Try talking to everyone and finding out if and what they want, even if they are just some random nameless peon wandering around the streets. Sometimes they will give you things, like journal entries or books on the cheap, saving you money or allowing you to loot items much earlier than you would by ...

No, Harvall is definately in the swamps, on the opposite side of the docks, with the wyverns, cause on my current playthrough I have it in chapter 3 and picked it up in chapter 2.

The best way to get it is to hit and run the wyverns, swooping in with swallow, blizzard and tawny owl from the south ...

The Sword Harvall is way back in the swamps, thought the fight to get to it is quite a challenge, particularly in chapter 2. If you happened to loot the body and not take the sword, or dropped it after looting, you may be SOL. Time to put your meteorite ores to good use.

It is on the dead ...

You can also learn about echinops from the old women outside in the Visma Outskirts. Just ofter them some food and ask for old tales and the last tale they will tell (there are 5 or 6, though some are just pure wives tales) is echinops, and will give you their journal entries. This is handy to know ...

You can always join the order... just go up to one of the order monks outside town unarmed and get your ass kicked. When you wake up, you will be recruited whether you like it or not, though becoming a mage is off limits, cause you pissed off the guy that has to recommend you, or you didn't meet ...
