I suspect the problem is your DVD drive. But I'm not there. Are you putting the CD into a CD drive. If so you need a DVD drive.

You need the patch 1462 download it from from microsoft games dungeon siege. Though I recommand you get DS LOA, it incliudes DS 1.5.
