I have had viconia for 10 days and 14 hours and i havent had a single romance chat. My rep is 5 and im chaotic evil...i thought the romance started...

There's a patch that takes care of the (IMHO stupid and unnecessary) romance/race restrictions. It means you'll have to start a new game, though...

If you drink enough to get your character drunk, it raises your morale but lowers your dexterity, or some such stat. Not much use really.

There are several places you can get the Exp Cap remover, but Baldurdash is probably the easiest to find. A lot of other good stuff there as well...

To clarify: There is a time limit on some of the quests, but once you have completed it, there is no time limit on reporting back for the next one....
