Background

At a bridge in Toussaint North (#1), you'll encounter a pair of level 37 rabid rock trolls. After defeating them, you'll find the corpse of a man nearby. He'll have a Letter to Cosmo Cyrille and a Key to Lockbox in his possession. Reading the letter will trigger the quest.


Walkthrough

The letter will indicate that the dead man stole some barrels of wine from Coronata Vineyard and then hid his payment in a pile of dung there. When you search Coronata Vineyard (#2), you'll find the relevant excrement on the southern side of the grounds. If you have your witcher senses active, then the partially-exposed lockbox will glow red. But even without your witcher senses, you'll comment on the stench when you walk next to it. Inside the lockbox, you'll find a Gold Sapphire Ring and somewhere around 100 Florens. Looting the lockbox will complete the quest.
