Overview
1 - The Belles of Beauclair -- House of Pleasure
The madam of this brothel will play you at gwent for up to 50 crowns per game. If you beat her, then you'll win the Skellige card Mardroeme (transformer). You'll also need to talk to the madam if you want to spend time with any of the brothel's three courtesans.
2 - Butcher's Shop
The butcher here will sell you meat products. He'll also play you at gwent for up to 50 crowns per game. If you beat him, then you'll win the card Skellige Storm (weather).
3 - Merchant
4 - Boxing Matches
You'll see men boxing at these places. You'll need to participate in the matches for the quest
Fists of Fury: Toussaint.
5 - Tailor's Workshop
Pierre the tailor will sell you clothing items, including elegant suits for the quests
The Man from Cintra and
Pomp and Strange Circumstance. He'll also play you at gwent for up to 50 crowns per game. When you beat him, you'll win the Skellige card Young Berserker (ranged 2 berserker).
6 - The Ducal Camerlengo
Inside this establishment, you'll meet Rafael de Surmann, the ducal camerlengo (aka chamberlain). He's involved in the quest
Knight for Hire. He'll also sell you books and play you at gwent for up to 50 crowns per game. If you beat him, then you'll win the Skellige card King Bran (leader).
7 - Notice Board
The first time you approach this board, a street urchin will deliver a letter to you. Reading the letter will trigger the quest
Turn and Face the Strange. Then when you examine the notice board, you'll be able to trigger numerous quests:

Fists of Fury: Toussaint,
Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of Granite,
Gwent: To Everything -- Turn, Turn, Tournament,
Knight for Hire,
Master Master Master Master,

Wine Wars: Belgaard (Part 1).
8 - Perfumery
The merchant here will sell you glyphs, runes, diagrams and more. He'll also play you at gwent for up to 50 crowns per game. If you beat him, then you'll win the Skellige card Light Longship (ranged 4 muster).
9 - Infirmary
Despite having a prominent sign, you'll never be able to visit this establishment.
10 - Cianfanelli Bank
At this bank, you'll be able to exchange your
Florens and
Orens for crowns. The bank is also involved in the quest
Paperchase.
11 - The Pheasantry
You'll only be able to enter this inn from the south and the west. Inside, you'll meet two people of interest:
- Innkeep. She'll sell you food and alcohol. She'll also play you at gwent for up to 50 crowns per game. If you beat her, then you'll win the Skellige card Draig Bon-Dhu (siege 2 commander's horn).
- Count Martin Monnier (in the attached courtyard to the west). He's involved in the quest
Gwent: To Everything -- Turn, Turn, Tournament.
Right next door to the Pheasantry is a bakery, but the baker inside won't have anything to say to you.
12 - Jacquette
You'll meet Jacquette here. She'll give you the quest
Feet as Cold as Ice.
13 - A Cut Above Hairdressing Salon
After completing the quest
The Warble of a Smitten Knight, you'll meet Le Papillon in front of this salon. He'll give you the quest
Of Sheers and a Witcher I Sing.
14 - The Clever Clogs Tavern
This tavern belongs to the brothers from the quest
Father Knows Worst. On the top floor, you'll meet Charles Lanzano. He's involved in the quest
Till Death Do You Part.
15 - Temple Cemetery
The cemetery and its catacombs are involved in three quests:
The Last Exploits of Selina's Gang,
Pomp and Strange Circumstance, and
Till Death Do You Part. You might find a random armor dye formula in the catacombs.
16 - Armorer / Blacksmith / Vineyard Owner
In this corner of Toussaint, you'll discover a master armorer working next door to a master blacksmith. You'll be able to play the armorer at gwent for up to 50 crowns per game. If you beat him, then you'll win the Skellige card Kambi (melee 0 summon berserker).
Just in front of the shops, you'll meet a vineyard owner. He'll claim that he owes you money. This will trigger the quest
Paperchase.
17 - Painter
After completing the quest
The Warble of a Smitten Knight, you'll meet a painter here. He'll give you the quest
A Portrait of the Witcher as an Old Man.
18 - Exhibition
You'll discover an exhibition for Reginald d'Aubry here. It's involved in the quest
Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of Granite.
19 - The Adder and Jewels Winery
The sommelier here will have a variety of wines for sale. He'll also play you at gwent for up to 50 crowns per game. If you beat him, then you'll win the Skellige card Olaf (melee / ranged 12 morale boost).
20 - Shops
You'll find two shops next door to each other here:
- Dupont & Sons Emporium of Diverse Merchandise. The merchant here will have no less than 19 paintings for sale, which you might find useful when decorating Corvio Bianco. You'll also be able to play the merchant at gwent for up to 50 crowns per game. If you defeat him, then you'll win the Skellige card Clan Dimun Pirate (ranged 6 scorch).
- Lazare Lafargue's Workshop. Lafargue is a master armorer / blacksmith. He's involved in the quest
Master Master Master Master.
21 - Herb Store
The herbalist here will have a variety of alchemy ingredients for sale. You'll also be able to play her at gwent for up to 50 crowns per game. If you beat her, then you'll win the Skellige card Mardroeme (transformer).

You'll get to visit the palace and its gardens for multiple quests, including
The Beast of Toussaint,
Beyond Hill and Dale,
The Night of Long Fangs, and
Pomp and Strange Circumstance.
