Background

When you enter Yantra in the Novigrad Outskirts (#1), you'll meet a group of villagers who will tell you that the outlaw Little Red has been terrorizing them to such an extent that one villager named Bertram went to the local witch hunters for help. The villagers will reveal that Bertram's plan worked for a while, but that now Little Red plans to attack the village in retaliation. The villagers will then ask you to protect them. If you agree, then you'll trigger the quest.


Walkthrough

Little Red will show up in the village at dusk. When you talk to her, she'll tell you that Bertram was actually working with her for a while before he got greedy and betrayed her to the witch hunters. This will give you two ways to proceed:

• You can let Little Red have Bertram. Red will kill Bertram and then leave the village, and you'll earn 20 crowns and 25 xp.
  
  
• You can fight Little Red and her five henchmen. Red will turn into a level 15 werewolf, so we'd recommend killing her men first (with your steel sword) and then killing her (with your silver sword). When the outlaw band is dead, Bertram will come up to you and give you your reward: 10 crowns and 50 xp.
