I remember that puzzle annoying the feck out of me.
After a bit of trying I managed to get a "success" response to 3 "persuade" options in a row, which should have caused him to give up the information, but didn't. So it seems a bit bugged.
The other two ways are pretty easy.

There is a little bit of point to seeing each enemies stats, I suppose, but only if they're vastly different. For example, fighting a really difficult enemy and 2 of his underlings, you might want to go for the difficult one first, or get the underlings out of the way. But you can really make that ...

I think its much easier if you've played a few role playing games before(pen n paper, etc).
I'd never played anything of the sort, so just had to muddle my way through. You'll pick it up after you've gone through the game once.
You don't HAVE to understand it all to play it, you can just treat it ...

strictly speaking, aren't many of the mandalorians you meet 'aliens' who speak basic?
Also, there's an Iridorian(is that right? I forget exactly what he was called) mercenary who speaks basic, in the cantina on Manaan.
And add to the list the Twi'lek swoop racer on manaan(oh, and the twi'lek swoop ...

Basically, you have to wait for them to make a run at you and as they go over/passed you, fire like crazy. If you're a good aim you can pick them off whenever they are.
It can be an annoying challenge, although I dont find it too difficult. The annoying thing is that your turret can only aim so low ...

After you've done that, you need to press the button above the 'tab' key. Then type whichever cheat you want to use.
That button is different depending on where you're keyboard was made, which is why there's always confusion about how to bring down the cheat console on a game.

Out of interest, the Rakata mentions people who run off into 'the white' and go mad. Is there any way to stop the conversation and go into the white? And if so, do you find anyone?
Secondly, do you think he's a good person or bad? The Rakata are supposed to be evil Sith sort of characters, so ...

If you've already done the quest, people on korriban will mention "some trouble" at the academy, and the gates will be locked. That's why you need to get dustil done and get everything you want to out of the tombs before leaving.
He'll only be there if you've been told about him, and he'll be in ...

Well, I downloaded the latest patch the other day, and then tried to start up the game. I was given a message saying that my Nvidia drivers were out of date, even though it worked fine before the patch.
So, I upgraded my drivers as promted. The game quality is now shockingly low. I didn't notice ...

Well, Reven must have found out about the star forge somewhere which is why he knew to look in the ruins on Dantooine.
Perhaps he found the robes that had already been made by someone who found the star forge?
hhhhmmm, it would be more likely that one of the Rakata had the robes, as if a human had ...

I only made one attempt to fight him, but just for the sake of interest I might get some cheats like invinceability or something and start a new game.

Well, when you first meet Calo Nord in Javyars Cantina on Taris, it's possible to start a fight with him. Usually when he counts "one...two.." I leave him alone. But this time through I decided to see what happens....and he whupped my a$$.
But it must be possible to kill him there, perhaps with ...

Some have the ability to knock out an opponent, some are more effective against droids.
If you look at the text when you select a weapon to equip, you can find this stuff out.

Using ranged weapons on your enemies can be just as good as lightsabres in my experience.
Often I'll start a fight(some of the ones where you have to face a huge number of enemies) by getting all 3 characters to throw grenades(best if your enemies don't see you beforehand) and then fire weapons ...

For me the 'bash' command is always in the left of the 3 options in the target window, just next to the 'security' option. It should be a little red sword, btw.
I think it's actually mentioned that a few of the Jedi Masters escaped. Bastilla says something like(after Saul says that Datooine was ...
