Rolling with dice instead of the number generators on the game is alot harder. My best in BG was 95(forgot which stats I had em in), and the best I got with dice was like 84.

fighter, nothing like good old hack and slash. I found collecting equipment was really fun since fighters are very dependant on equipment.

With Robe of Vecna, and mage contingency spells with a mix of cleric and mage spells, she can be quite good. Shes decent healer, and mage. Only scribe spells you will use for her

I went to the city gates before leaving Athkatla and I was able to visit any other city(as long as it was a reachable destination and it was on map).

I think clerics should be high on the list. A cleric can just keep healing fighters and other melees. A high lvl pure cleric could probably cast the heal spell a few times and they have some other decent spells.

Was he the guy with the purple armor? I remember some guy with purple armor and he was a paladin.

Sometimes in battle they get killed and their body parts fly all over. Then they cant be ressurected. Dunno if it happened to anyone else, but its happened to me a few times where a party member's corpse pretty much blows up. Their picture dissapears from party, and there is no corpse.

the bejuril gem is found in umar hills by doing a little quest from a farmer about some chicken for the 2nd upgrade for the horn.

You need a +3 or higher for iron golem. Bows dont count for +x weapons, its the arrows.

On the way to the snervfeblin(whatever they are called) village you will encounter the drow. The little box thing is near them.

my figher=5 longbow pts, 5 longsword pts, 3 2weapon style pts. thaco=-16, and -12 offhand. 211HP, -7 AC. lvl 26.
5 attacks per round. best critical=70

mage=around 15 lvl 9 spells, 10 lvl 8, and almost all 1-7. 57HP, lvl 16(made him recently)

thief=110+ HP 130+ in all thieving skills lvl 30

Another one of the vampires is down the stairway, and he goes to the spikes room. watchout for the traps, sometimes they get 30+ damage. The traps cant be disarmed
