Same thing happened to me with my thieves guild. Because I was off somewhere and didn't get back in time to pay the quotamaster I lost the guild. Each time I bribe to get it back they take my money and then take my guild again. So i got sick of it after a while and gave up on it.

Don't know exactly what you mean by Planar Sphere 2, but I'll take a guess. If you are looking for the demon heart go back out to the door you used to enter the sphere. If you remember from the commentary you started the sphere up and it's now gone ...

I think they're just NPCs that are there to make the gaming world more real.
