As underrated equipment, I guess I'll take all of the spears (they don't seem to be very popular, maybe because none of the NPCs can use them).

Nope, only from the chickens in the Umar Hills... But if you want the horn so badly, use Shadowkeeper and return it.

But I expect a Roleplaying game such as Baldur's Gate II have a larger variety of classes. There are a lot of powerful mages, and only one *real* thief (Jan is not a real thief!)

Probably the Drow Plate Mail +5 (although it's quite limited :-) ) or the Boots of Phasing (which has to be cheated, because Bioware removed them from the game).

By the way, did anyone find a way to protect the Drow equipment? How about throwing it inside a Bag of Holding?

Actually, it's quite annoying that his alignment is good - it means you can't use useful spells and equipment that can only be used against Evil NPCs, like that nifty sword (Sunburst, or Dawnbringer, or something along that line).

Most people either play with six characters or with a single one, it seems to be the most efficient experiance to usibility ratio. A single character works quite well, though some of the parts are tedious... This ain't no Diablo.

My next restart is going to have my main character (Elven Archer ...

I think that playing without the cap can be fun. Tried it with my Kensai Mage, and it made the game (which is usually dull and annoying) a bit more interesting for two more battles!

Seriously now, I think the cap isn't very important. Although it seems you're limited from getting to 9th level ...

Yuck, statistics. Never liked them, never will. All in all, the statistics doesn't realy matter and it's all about plain luck, and using Fireballs by a level 17 mage.

I think the amount of money Nalia gives you depends on how much money you already have by that time. Either way, you won't find any money in the cabinet until you get taxes, and then you'll find a lousy 500gps.

Go to the second floor in Mae'ver's guild, the north room from the entrance has a little tiny itsy bitsy box. You'll find it just left of the entrance, it looks like a couple of drawers.

I prefer Imoen... She's dualled, not multiclassed, so it's much easier for her to level up. She's a bit winy, but you can get over it :-)

Poll: Solo or not?

Here's an interesting poll for all of you. Do you prefer to play the game Solo (ie, with just your main character) or do you prefer to recruit the various NPCs available in the game?

Bug with Nishruu, beware!!

Just reached the Underdark with a Kensai/Mage, and found the Drow war party. After smacking some drows around, they summoned a couple of Nishruus, and the trouble began.
I don't care for my spells, neither do I care for my staves, losing the charges wasn't so bad. But, as the Nishruus proceeded, odd ...

*Beware!!!!!*

I would've liked having the possibility of being ahead of Irenicus a bit. You're constantly on his trail, constantly 2-3 steps beyond, and never have any chance to catch on - for example, catching some of Bodhi's vampires and interrogating them, getting an Elven ...

The Greater Werewolf regenerates *very* quickly. If you want to kill him, you have to concentrate all of your firepower on him- send the warriors to attack, start blasing him with every spell you got, if someone can't reach him use projectiles, haste the entire party to smash him quickly enough, etc ...
