Proving Ground Brawling for Profit SPOILERS

I'm on my first play through and having a good time. In the Proving Ground area of the Dwarf kingdom I wandered into a side door and found myself confronted with a dwarf who proposed fighting for the sport of the regular folks in a no-holds-barred contest.
I decided to fight once and was warned that ...

Leveling...

The leveling issue has been discussed ad nauseum.
You asked about a sequel. I haven't read anything yet, but I'd expect it. However, until another Elder Scrolls comes out I recommend checking out The Witcher.

Paranoia time killer quest...SPOILER

I couldn't find the walk-through on Gamebanshee. The walkthroughs are all here. SPOILER WARNING (highlight to read): The quest is simple and doesn't even require that you watch anybody or talk to ...

My 2 cents...

If you like Oblivion I think the next obvious choice would be to agree with Jazz.z and say check out The Witcher.
Stepping back in time you'd have to check out Morrowind, but stand by for possible disappointment because, well, Oblivion is newer and better IMHO.
Dungeon Lords is ...

I think I'm going to pick up The Witcher. The coverage on it makes it look like a winner. I'll shell out the bucks right after Christmas.

It metamorphs others

I can't help but note your thread hijack, Isaac65, but the item causes the target to metamorph into something entirely different.
See example provided by Lotus: deer turned into wolf.
Presumably you could turn a deadly foe into something weaker and slay it or maybe it would ...

I Quit Playing Morrowind Today

I gave up playing Morrowind today. My chief complaint is the PAINFUL dialog system.
I was introduced to the Elder Scrolls games by Oblivion. I liked that game, but the compass made quests TOO simple. By reading the Oblivion forum I learned of Morrowind.
I picked up the Morrowind GOTY edition and ...

Sorry you're stuck

Getting stuck in DL happened to me a few times. There is a hex editor for this game mentioned WAY back in the forum. Try searching the forum for it. I didn't have the skill to use it for adjusting my position on the world...maybe you do.
For me to get un-stuck I always had to ...

I really hate the Demon Doors

I really hate the Demon Doors.
If you're trying to play as a truly good character you can't get into some of them. Then once you decide to either break your vegetarian, do-goodie-good streak or play as a bad guy and finally get into them you find out that the loot is ...

Nothing to do...

First of all, welcome to GameBanshee, broodking
As Belthan pointed out, you have to do nothing except purchase the furniture kits for your house. Had you entered the shack prior to buying any furniture you'd see a basically empty room. What you see in the shack now are the lowly ...

Don't forget multiple, frequent saves...

Playing on the X-Box won't allow you the use of the console as you could on the PC. No saves prior to entering the painting...that's bad news. I thought there was an 'auto-save' upon entering either the door to the house or the painting itself (or is that ...

It all depends...

As you level up so do your enemies so you could complete the entire main plot at level 1. (presumably this is easier than at level 34)
The best weapon combo depends on your character. If you specialized in bladed weapons I'd go with the best enchanted sword. If you specialized ...

Should still be there...

If you stashed the items in a house that you paid for then the items should still be there. If you placed them in a random dwelling then they will eventually disappear.

You have to play your role

The first time I attempted this game I had to tap out pretty quickly. I wanted a dark elf that was good at everything and found out the hard way that it doesn't work that way. The monsters were growing in level with me and I wasn't good enough at any one thing to kill ...

What's your favorite Mini-Game in Fable?

I think the mini-games in Fable TLC are a blast. I never knew that chicken kicking could bring me so much joy and coin golf is almost the most fun you can have in a tavern. Taking a moment to go fishing is a must for any good or evil hero. I want to see what other people like to do to as they while ...

The minigame rocks

The fishing minigame ROCKS! I love being able to take time out of a busy melee and just fish for a couple minutes. Angry balverines wait patiently as I cast my line and score a moonfish.
It's all in the timing:
1) cast;
2) wait for a fish to bite, take some line and then stop ...

Laziness ruins a good game

I'm already wasting my time playing the game in the first place. My muscles atrophy from lack of exercise. Now my brain does the same. The compass makes the game TOO easy. The compass is for kids who don't want to be bothered with exploring. They should've made the ...

Indianasmith is right about the plane of Oblivion. Totally freaky.
Another good gaming moment was when I was completely immersed in the game, home alone, in the dark, late at night, the monitor inches from my nose, as I slowly creeped through a freaky Aelyid (sp?) ruin. I had the volume all the way ...
