I think if you use Shadowkeeper you could add it to your character once you figured out the variable thingy that you need.

I personally found that TOB was worth getting. The abilities are cool, the items are superpowered (to a retarded point, actually) and I liked the ending of the saga as well

I believe it is with any ranged weapon, but I don't have my manual with me (friend is borrowing it). An archer with a sling...... what fun. Theoretically, wouldn't the archer then gain the bonuses for darts and the throwing axe?

I think the cloak makes darts, not throwing daggers.

There is a glitch with the fighter stronghold where you do it first, decline to take it, go get your other stronghold and then go back to get the fighter one. I tried it but I couldn't get it to work for some reason.

I would make frodo a normal fighter maybe, but I don't know any of the TDD classes.... To me Gandalf would be more like a dual cleric/mage because his fighting abilities werent ultra super and he did have some healing spells (I believe) only problem with this is that he couldnt use long sword ...
