Also there are about 50 loonies or more in the house, that's a lot of ghouls to maintain as they all need at least one vitae per month to maintain. So I suppose they're just inmates.

Beckett has a fascination for Thin Bloods, so that will probably be why he was at the pier. He also was checking for anything unusual around LA as he tells you at your first meeting, so that might be why he was around the warehouse in view of the sabbat activity there. Or maybe he got on your trail ...

The game hardly forces you to keep to only one form of attack. You should have picked up enough XP and free raises of skills by that time to be extremely competent in one form of attack, and moderately so in two others, plus have one, if not two disciplines maxed out.

The flamethrower, even if you ...

Maybe they prefer to leave it to our fantasy? Anything visual they'd have put in would probably be no match for the average gamer's fantasy in this regard. :p

I was also fairly disappointed with VV. After all this promising that she would make more private time for you after all the business with ...

Another tactic is not to enter the main hall, but stay in the T-cross hall and then shoot from over there with your .38 gun in the general direction of where Brother Kanker is obfuscating himself. He should appear after a few shots. Let him approach you and then run towards your left (left as your ...

Easiest way to handle this: walk out of the hotel and walk back in and hope that it works this time.

And ignore any spawns, focus all your damage dealing on Xiao.

There are many tactics that work on her but using your disciplines in combo is a good start (have some blood ready though). There's no reason to hold back on them at this stage. Usually my disciplines determine my tactic.
One thing that ...

I suppose the number after R indicates how high your research feat needs to be.

And one small correction: the computer book at Trip's shop can teach you 1 & 2, not only 2.
In fact if you sell the books before using them, you can buy them back twice, so you can raise your skill twice with the same ...

As far as I know "Vision of Death" and "Suicide" work basically the same. Both do damage to "normal" vampires, sometimes enough to kill them, but not always.

I second Celacena's comments.

I think it's also realistic that using guns draws enemies because of the noise (this is especially annoying in the Temple and can screw up your mission for VV in the Sin Bin).
Secondly it is stated that at least vampires (but the same could be for other supernaturals ...

As far as I know - which is admittedly fairly little - the best way to handle the console is to open it and close it with the ~ key while in the menu (so first you have to press ESC). That's the only way I try handle the console and it hasn't given me any grief as long as I handle it that way.

Does anyone else think the damage done by the Tal'mahe'Ra Blade is too low? They're not - they're Kuei-Jin. Check out ...

Well, I'm surprised the Flamethrower isn't used - two loads of that and Ming is down to half her lifebar. And secondly you can get your firearms skill up at minimum three without spending an XP (book at Trip's place twice + freebee from Romero), so if you have 0 in firearms at that point... you're ...
