You know you've been playing too long when:

you look at characters from different movies, tv shows, and games and instantly think of the clan that they could belong to OR identify something that they are doing as something one of the vampire clans would do.

i agree with you when you say that this game is very well written, Lehiff. the diologue is witty and flowing, the character are well thought out and complex, and the storyline is intricate and flexible.

actually, this is my first time adding anything to oblivion, along with a Kvatchaftermath mod, a madgods powers mod, and some new residences. so i dont think that anything is conflicting.

actually, the open cities mod is supposed to eliminate the city gates (except for the imperial city) so that you can walk in and out of them on horses and stuff. and also, those checkboxes arent showing up like their supposed to, so i guess there is something wrong...

I've done everything that the mods' tell me to do, which is:
1) extract file into oblivion/data file
2)(optional) Click on the box in the data files.

AND NOTHING HAPPENS when i play the game! :mad: for example, i tried playing a mod for open cities, and when i played the game, the city gates were ...

don't worry you don't have to create a new character for the expansions. you just have to wait a day and then your character will recieve a message about the quests for the expansions. enoy them, they are AWSOME!!!!

Uh Oh!

I have looked EVERYWHERE and I cannot find the countess, not even her corpse! I tried to open the command console, but NOTHING happened! HELP PLEASE! (oh, and can you please tell me what I have to type if i ever do manage to open the console? THANKS!)

ok thanks its just that the countess never showed up to the party, and it looks likes one of the other guests are missing. whoever sits in the middle seat on the left side of the head chair seems to be missing unless there are only 6 guests?
