Don't worry I am another such loser .. I did not EVEN get to TRY back stab .. hide in shadows itself was rarely succesful for me ... I never quite understood why some hides were succesful and some weren't.

I never tried pick-pocketing really ... Always used to get caught and everyone went ballistic on me .. so I did not find that at all fun ... I guess i had not packed in much power into the pickpocket skill of my thieves .. always rather saving it for trap detections and lock ...
