Playing with low Cha, Int, or Wis isn't all bad. It just means you have a different role-playing exp.

I hope they don't do a sequel. It would couldn't live up to the original. Interplay should just incorporate the storytelling elements into new games.

I have an issue with the whole reputation system. For instance, if you change into the slayer as a solo player in the Underdark and kill everything that sees it, how does it lower your rep in town.

What are the actual height (or lack thereof) requirements? Also, can non-dwarven, non-halfling, etc. beings qualify if short enough?

Quest: The Nashkell Mines. My first time thru it was exciting to be in the first dungeon. The fight at the end was good for the level as well.

Area: All of BG (the city), the art is wonderful.

My opinion is a little different than the consensus. First buy BG then buy BG2. The overall story is better if you start from the beginning.

I would either go with invisibility or some type of illusion (to influence sporting events).

IMO this was the hardest fight in any of the Interplay D&D games. I was able to solo BG & BGII but never even attempted to fight this one without all 6.

I soloed a Elven F/T thru BG w/o cheating in any way. One great trick for tough battles is using a Prot. from Magic scroll and arrows of detenation. Thats how I beat Sarevok.

In the old AD&D Deities and Demigods book it listed Elric and Stormbringer. The way it implemented the runeswords was to have a 50% chance of 1/2 the target's levels drained and a 50% chance of ALL levels drained on a hit. Also as kills were made it increased Elrics strength and constitution.

I ...

@fable: Have you forgotten to include or are you trying to avoid the topic of biological warfare (banned in the Ailing Gnome Treaty of 1211)? The use of thrown midgets in varying states of illness is not often discussed, but is certainly a common tactic.

I hate to be the one to inject morality into ...

Question for CRPG experts

I am starting to get bored with BGII (I've played it a bazillion times). I've enjoyed other Black Isle/Bioware D&D games like BG, PST and IWD. Are there any other good RPGs you all would recommend?

I think that the final save takes place before the final battle anyway. The only thing that gets saved after you win is an export of your character.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

In the NW Hive there is a man whose name starts w/ "P". If you do a small quest for him he can then train you.

There's no body for Morte.

I think your INT is too low for the 8th circle. You can buy tatoos to raise it. Not sure how high it needs to be.

There are numerous instances of kill-proof NPCs. The most recent I found is the guard captain in the fighter stronghold. I attacked him for fun and he went to near death in a couple of hits. However, after several hundred more hits he still wouldn't die.

The exp. is shared. In fact even when the cap is hit the character still receives experience. When I installed a cap remover my character immediately went up by several hundred thousand points and I was able to level up a couple of levels.

Where is Tansherons Bow?

I've tried every merchant in Trademeet, except for the Djinni (who I've already dealt with). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
