Background

You'll receive this quest when you ask the pellar (#1) about the Bloody Baron's wife and daughter.


Walkthrough

The pellar will tell you that he doesn't know where the Baron's family is, but he'll offer to augur the answer for you -- only you'll need to find his goat Princess for him first so he can complete the task. To help you out, he'll give you a bell that Princess likes to follow. Pellar's Bell will automatically go into your inventory as a pocket item.

To find Princess you'll need to stand outside the pellar's cottage and use your witcher senses. You'll find the goat's tracks leading west. When you reach the goat (#2), you'll need to ring the bell to get her to follow you. She'll run over to patches of strawberries and raspberries any time she spots them, so if you don't avoid them, then you'll have to keep ringing the bell to get her to follow you again.

During your trip to Princess, you'll probably get attacked by wolves. On your trip back to the pellar, you'll definitely get attacked by a bear, so be prepared. The quest will end when you return to the pellar with the goat.
