Background

You'll trigger this quest by reading the note "Gwent Lessons" on the notice board in the Kaer Trolde town in Ard Skellig (#1). The note will let you know that Ermion is available as an opponent.


Walkthrough

You'll need to beat five people in gwent for this quest:

• Ermion. You won't be able to play gwent against Ermion until after you've completed the quest Echoes of the Past. At that point he'll move over to Gedyneith (#3). When you defeat Ermion, you'll receive the card Leshen (Ranged 10) and 25 xp, and he'll tell you about Crach and Gremist.
  
  
• Crach. You'll find him in his bedroom in the Kaer Trolde keep (#2). When you beat Crach, you'll receive the card Draug (Melee 10) and 25 xp, and he'll tell you about Sjusta.
  
  
• Gremist. You'll find him sitting in front of his lab right next to Gedyneith (#3). You might have to complete the quest Practicum in Advanced Alchemy before you can play him. When you beat Gremist, you'll receive the card Mysterious Elf (Spy 0) and 25 xp, and he'll tell you about Madman Lugos.
  
  
• Madman Lugos. You'll find him inside the Kaer Muire keep (#4). When you defeat Lugos, you'll receive the card Vampire: Katakan (Melee Muster 5) and 25 xp.
  
  
• Sjusta. You'll find him inside his shop in the Kaer Trolde town (#1). When you defeat Sjusta, you'll receive the card Yaevinn (Agile 6) and 25 xp.

For completing the quest, you'll also earn the card Emhyr var Emreis: The White Flame (Leader).
