Walkthrough

While you're in Kaer Trolde in Ard Skellig (#1), you'll meet a merchant who will ask you for 150 crowns so he can go back home to Novigrad. If you pay him, then he'll leave, but you'll next spot him at the trading post south of town (#2), where he'll be posing as a juggler in need of money. When you talk to him there, you'll earn 20 crowns, you'll be given three choices for what to say:

• If you attack him or threaten to involve the jarl, then he'll attack you, and you'll find your 150 crowns on his corpse.
  
  
• If you let him go, then you'll meet him again in Fyresdal, leaning against a building on the northern side of town (#3). This time when you talk to him, you'll receive 200 crowns and 50 xp.

Note: You'll only trigger this quest when you complete it.
