Background

Praios Devotee Warina (#1) will give you this quest once you've joined the Praiots.


Walkthrough

Warina will tell you that there are five witch trees in the Dark Forest (#2), and that three of them (#2a) are located in "particularly strategic points," which is making them a nuisance to the Praiots. She'll then ask you to destroy the trees. Only three of the trees are required, but you can destroy all five if you want to.

Each time you approach a tree, the tree itself and two (bear) nature spirits will attack you. All three are reasonably tough, and so you should immediately move away from the tree so that you can fight the spirits in one battle and then the tree in another. You'll receive 10 experience points each time you destroy a tree, plus 10 additional experience points if it's a required tree. You'll also find some Elm Wood on the tree remains.

After completing the task, when you return to Warina, she'll reward you with Warina's Hammer plus 20 experience points. "Choirs will still be singing of your deed in 100 years' time!"
