Background

Owlstone the Hunter will give you this quest when you talk to him at his lodge in the Dark Forest (#1).


Walkthrough

Owlstone will tell you that a pack of wolves, led by a female named White Fur, has been "marauding about the countryside," and he'll ask you to hunt them down and bring him back the leader's pelt. You'll find White Fur on a rocky outcropping (#2) to the northwest of Owlstone's lodge, but she won't appear right away. First you'll need to kill enough of her wolves to make her mad. You'll find her wolves all over the place west of the lodge.

When White Fur attacks you, she'll bring along two tougher than regular wolves to help her out. You should concentrate your attacks on one wolf at a time, and you might need to buff up first with whatever whetstones and salves that you have available. When White Fur dies you'll receive 20 experience points, and you'll automatically pick up White Fur's Pelt.

When you return to Owlstone and deliver the pelt, he'll reward you with 20 thalers, and you'll also receive 5 more experience points.
