Walkthrough

After talking to Arima in Rockhammer and learning about crux stones and candecium, Arima will suddenly identify you by name and say she has a message for you. If you lie and tell her that she's mistaken, then you won't receive this quest, and you won't learn what you're supposed to do next, but you'll still receive 750 xp when you eventually run into Lilith in the Baasilt Dunes.

Note: If you lie to Arima, then she won't give you the side quest A String of Pearls.

If you're truthful to Arima, then she'll deliver a message to you from Lilith, who you might remember from Book I (and who you probably killed for her amulet, but nevermind). You'll learn that Lilith is waiting for you in the Baasilt Dunes to the west, and that it's "imperative" that you meet her there.

When you reach Lilith (#1), she'll remind you of some of the things that happened in Books I and II, and she'll give you Erubor's Letter. That will complete the quest and earn you 1500 xp. To start the next main quest, you'll just need to read the letter.
