Background

You'll receive this quest from the tavern patron in Merryweather Spirits in Moonrise (#1).


Walkthrough

The patron will tell you that his fiancée Magpie is late in arriving, and he'll ask you to deliver a Love Letter to her if you should happen to run into the merchant caravan she's traveling with. You'll find Magpie and the caravan stuck in Macross Point (#2). However, when you hand over the letter, Magpie will call the patron a "creep," and she'll say that she barely knows him. Even so, you'll earn 750 xp for completing the first part of the quest.

For Part 2, you'll need to deliver a Returned Letter from Magpie to the patron. When you do, you'll earn another 750 xp. If you wait for the patron to pay you for your work, then he'll eventually give you the Engagement Ring that he had purchased for Magpie. It's worth 500gp.
