Background

You'll receive this quest from a dying man in the Oceana Lowlands (#1).


Walkthrough

The man will tell you that he spotted goblins making camp to the east, and fearing that they were preparing for an invasion, he blew up the nearby pass to slow down their advance -- only he didn't quite get clear of the blast in time, and he took mortal wounds. Before dying, the man will ask you to warn Morwen in Rockhammer about the invasion. You won't be able to help the man, even if you have healing potions or spells available.

You'll find Morwen in his office in Rockhammer (#2). He won't believe that goblins are really invading, he won't be thrilled to learn that the pass has been blown up, and you won't receive any sort of dialogue options to convince him that the threat is real. After completing your conversation with Morwen, you'll complete the quest and earn 300 xp.
