Don't you think that the high-level abilities system in ToB is similar to the skills in diablo 2? You see, you get 1 point for every level you gain and you can freely choose any skills you want (would that be low or high-level: every skill level needs only 1 point to gain one level). Also you need ...

Wouldn't character heal from magic spell damage if his/her MR is over 100%? I've tried it with my PC with over 100% magical fire resistance (hint: red dragon scale+spell) and fireball cast on him actually healed my character! Thus WS/thief will have base MR of 40% and MR can easily go over 100% with ...

Wouldn't it be cool to dual from lv21 wizard slayer to thief?

Wizard slayer causes 10% chance of spell casting failure on each hit, which is cumulative. Thus at lv21, wizard slayer will have one whirlwind and one greater whirlwind abilities and what it basically means is that wizard slayer can cause 100% chance of spell failure in one round. And it sounds ...

Core
BG2 seems easy because AI in the game is poorly done (the best known example would be the use of cloudkill spell for dragonslaying). The only worthy enemies, in my view point, are player-controlled mages ;)

Aerie: her self-righteousness (esp. when dealing with H'D over her) and whining about herself make me almost sick. Sometimes I strongly agree with Viconia's comments about this wench :( Man, how cool Viconia is :)

The extra number of spell slot for edwin is because of *ahem* running shadowkeeper on your savegame. If you edit then save game using shadowkeeper, then Edwin will have one more extra spells! This will give him 3 extra spell slots every level! The best way to avoid this bug is to 1) install a bugfix ...

Nah, you can't backstab dragon (they can see the invisible)!
And no one (even Keldorn) in your party will complain about silver-dragonslaying or giving real egg to demon since those things won't hurt your reputation (Keldorn will go red if you attack bystander or fail pickpocketing).

And I don't ...

No, they don't stack.
When you dual and your first class becomes activated, the proficiency point will not stack; instead it is overlapped. Thus your thief/mage will have only 1 proficiency point in dagger.

Energy Blade spell is very good spell which is often overlooked. It will ignore magic resistance (made of pure energy) :) It's much like magic missile in old days. Extremely useful against highly magic resistant monsters but it's useful against almost everything! Guaranteed to reduce ~60 HP per ...
