Just popping in with my two cents:

The first time I played KotOR II, I got my lightsaber ready literally just before I met Visas (in fact I was convinced that obtaining the lightsaber triggered that attack). Then the next few times I only got the saber AFTER having fought Visas (and boy was I ...

Problem with GeForce 6200?

I just installed a new video card, downloaded the latest drivers, and now the game (actually both KotOR an KotOR 2) will not run anymore.

I get an error in module nvoglnt.dll and the config program tells me to update the drivers.
However, the recommended driver is an older one than I had installed ...

Hate to tell you this, but you probably should've convinced the Serocco too, rather than killing them.

Anyway, Nar Shaddaa is, IMO, the worst place as far as side quests are concerned. I almost never get all of them done. Especially the "Galactic Unification": As DS, I just don't care enough, as LS ...

I even got enough repair/computer with my weapon master. In fact, you don't need that much, as you can get some items that give a total boost of +15 or more, so that computer/repair 5 is enough :-)

Yeah, but I only ever had 1 or 2. And even then only because of Kreia asking me to develop my ...

Some clarifications (Spoiler).

1. The Exile is NOT Revan (but nobody said that, so I wonder why Caranthe mentions that). They are totaly official two different characters.
2. In Kotor II you have some influence what Revan was by talking to Atton (when freeing him from his cage in the Peragus ...

I never had a high ernough Repair/ Computer skill to 'fix' T3, so I wouldn't know about the meditation.. However, you can meditate with the Disciple (to regenerate FP faster).
I thinks that's influence-based as well.

Cheers,

*Spoiler*

Mission, Jolee and the Cathar, to keep the story line straight, die. No matter what your alignment is Revan, be it boy or girl, ends up being evil. So Revan kills them on the unknown world.

Question pertaining to your spoiler:*spoiler*
How do you figure that? Nothing in the game ...

As far as I remember, You just have one normal attack throughout the game.

Flurry and dual wield add one attack each - making it 3 attacks/round, and the Master Speed force power can temporarily add up to 2 (I think, I haven't used it myself), for a total of 5 attacks/round.

In KotOR, Jedi classes ...

For the sake of some Dark Side points isnt it worth completing this side quests for the eventual benefits and rewards?.

For the record, I have NO problem getting noticed by the Exchange. In fact, I don't even feel I have to go out of my way to do so.
Usually, by the time I'm done with the ...

Another problem on Nar Shaddaa (Galactic Reunification)

Essentially, I've done all I can on this planet.
I persuaded both the Exchange and the Serocco to ease off on the refugees, cured Geriel's illness, convinced Saquesh to release the little girl etc.

The one quest I can't complete is the ...

I've played both...

.. but I find the game/story is really keyed towards light side. As a LS character I could get by hardly ever getting DS points, as a DS character it's much harder to avoid LS points.

Also, I can relate to a lot of comments on how the DS choices make you feel, which I guess ...

On the subject of training Mira (Bug?)

Not that I don't value her as her regular scout self, but I'm unable to trigger Mira's Force-sensitivity...
She's finally agreed to let me 'show' her the Force; we were on Dxun at the time, so we had to play out the first part of the Onderon mission.
After ...

For the level problem: no idea.
As for the non-combatant problem: I assume you've tried different henchman behaviours (follow, stand ground etc.)? Beyond that I'm once again at a loss for suggestions.

(This reply is really just a shameless plug for my own related question below, see my 'henchman ...

Henchman behaviour bug?

Well, the problems I ran into earlier (see my very first thread here) have been solved. I patched to 1.68 and could then use the console to at least spawn the Devourer brain so I could complete quest 1.
(Still a bit bummed out for missing the XP for killing the devourer itself, but there ya go ...

Hmm.. that patch is a pretty hefty dl for my poor dialup connection... :( But apparently there's a console command for spawning the brain :)
(Though I wish I could spanw the Devourer itself.. can always use more XP..)

Anyways muchas gracias for all the help!

@ Carrie, You are very welcome. ;) Yes, no computer games take advantage of all of the rules. Having been someone that attempted to make a computer RPG, I can see why though. Trying to force both a computer programmer and a graphics guy to work up how to make a cloak deal damage or affect combat is ...

Yup, blinding, capturing weapons, hiding your own strikes.. all very nifty tricks with cloaks.. haven't seen a computergame that allows that sort of thing though..

Ok, didn't read very precisely, just wanted to give some general info on Lawful/Chaotic items..

Still, a dueling cloak could be an awesome weapon :D (Mountebank anyone?)
