Background
You'll receive this quest from Nurelion inside the White Phial in Windhelm.
Walkthrough
Nurelion will tell you that he's tracked down the location of the White Phial, a magical container that can "replenish whatever fluid is placed inside of it." However, Nurelion will inform you that he's now too sickly to retrieve it, and so he'll ask you to go in his place. Assuming you agree, he'll give you
Nurelion's Mixture, which is required to reach the phial, and he'll tell you that the phial can be found in Curalmil's resting place in the Forsaken Cave.
You'll find the Forsaken Cave located in the mountains to the northwest of Windhelm. Inside, you'll encounter some trolls (at the entrance), a bunch of draugr (everywhere else), and Curamil (near the end, #5). Curamil will be different depending on your level -- he can be a dragon priest with ice spells and storm atronachs if you're advanced enough -- and he'll have some draugr with him, so he might be tough to fight. If you have trouble, then retreat back the way you came, and see if you can break up the fight into multiple parts. Curamil won't drop anything of interest when he dies.
Past Curamil you'll come to an ancient bowl (#7). When you pour
Nurelion's Mixture into it, a secret door will open and reveal an alchemy chamber (not shown on the map). Inside the chamber you'll find an alchemy lab, numerous ingredients, the Alchemy skill book
A Game at Dinner, and the
Cracked White Phial.
When you deliver the
Cracked White Phial to Nurelion in his shop in Windhelm, he'll be less than thrilled, and after insulting you a few times, he'll reward you with a big 5 gold. However, on your way out of the shop, Nurelion's assistant Quintus Navale will apologize for Nurelion's behavior, and he'll give you 500 gold.

When you get close enough to the Word Wall, you'll unlock the Word of Power "Leech, Marked for Death."
7 - Ancient Bowl / Alchemy Chamber
