Town Under Attack (Quest Given by Armpit): With his final putrid breath, the bartender has directed you to go to the warehouse, where any surviving townspeople might be hiding.
Rescue Innocents (Quest Given by Warehouse Woman): Rescue as many innocent townspeople as possible.
ZIPPO RAID
When you get back to town from the crater, the Raider Matron will have had the area torched. Armpit will tell you to find the rest of the townspeople in the warehouse before he dies. Before you head there, though, run around the area and kill all the Raiders. Try to get them before they manage to kill any innocents. Each innocent you save will give you a little something for saving his life. If you manage to save all thirty-seven townspeople, the Wasteland Stranger will award you with the Red Ryder BB Gun (with infinite ammo!) when you speak to him in the warehouse. There are a total of nine innocents you can save here in the town center.
GATE
When you are ready to exterminate the Raiders and save the townspeople, activate the gate switch leading to the west side of town.
WASTELAND STRANGER
After you've picked up the Vault 13 flask, you can give it to him for 100 caps and 100 experience points. It turns out that he is the Vaultdweller from the original Fallout. Talk to him about the Mutants and he'll give you some stimpaks. He'll also tell you where to find the Ghoul city of Los Anything. When you're ready to begin Chapter Two, tell him that you are ready to leave town.
