Kill Deathclaw Mother (Quest Automatically Given): The mama deathclaw gobbled up the chief scientist... and the lab key. You can ask her very nicely to shit out the key, or cut her open and pull it from her belly. HINT: She's practically blind, and won't know where you are unless you're moving fast, attacking her, or close enough to smell. She'll also regenerate in the radioactive pools if she's hurt.


DUBOIS

You find the chief scientist right away. He wants you to help him escape before the Queen Deathclaw shows up, but you are too late, of course.


MAMA DEATHCLAW

The Queen Deathclaw can heal herself in the radioactive goo in her lair. IF you have the canine companion perk, you can probably get her health to half while she is dealing with it. The rest of the fight is mostly chasing her down as she tries to get her health back above half. Once you've beaten her, you receive 800 experience points and are able to grab the lab key from her radioactive body before heading back to the Vault Garden. Dubois, unfortunately, did not make it.


EXIT

Leave the way you came. You'll now find that level three is inhabited by invisible Deathclaws. One on one they aren't too bad, but watch your health meter if you are attacked by three or four.
