Amaranthine is located in the Fortuna system of the Horse Head Nebula cluster. You'll be coming here to collect your reward from Helena Blake after defeating the two crime bosses in the "UNC: Hostile Takeover" assignment.
1 - Arrival
Amaranthine's climate isn't extreme enough to pose any sort of hazardous risks to your squad, so feel free to move about on foot if you need to.

3 - Crashed Probe
Search the remnants of this crashed space probe to add a couple more upgrades to your arsenal.
4 - Ancient Debris
A thorough search of this debris will uncover a beaded necklace marked with the Galatana Colony insignia. This is one of thirteen insignias you need for the "UNC: Turian Insignias" assignment.
5 - Engineering Outpost
After defeating the two crime bosses on
Klensal and
Mavigon for the "UNC: Hostile Takeover" assignment, you can enter this outpost for your meeting with Helena Blake. She thanks you for eliminating her former partners, and then promises that her gang will restrict itself to "gambling and smuggling illegal technologies" rather than dabbling in drugs or slave-taking.
With a successful Charm ("Walk away.") or Intimidate ("Disband the group.") line, you can convince Helena to walk away from a life of crime for good. This is your best option, as it will earn you a nice amount of experience and several Paragon or Renegade points. If you attempt to arrest her, you'll only earn two Paragon points and will be forced to enter battle with her and her gang of mercenaries. If you just let her go, you'll receive her payment but will then be kicked out of the outpost without any other reward.
Should you persuade her to come clean or kill the gang, you can search the rest of the facility for an upgrade kit, a medical kit, a secure weapon locker, a technician kit, a hardened wall safe (loaded with credits!), and an aid station.
