Tuntau is located in the Phoenix system of the Argos Rho cluster. You might want to bring Urdnot Wrex with you here, as his family's armor can be found within the planet's mercenary base.


1 - Arrival

This desolate planet looks cold, but the temperature isn't extreme enough to pose any risk to you or your squad members when you step out of the Mako.


2 - Lithium Deposit

Survey this Lithium deposit to get one step closer to finishing the "Light Metals" section of the "UNC: Valuable Minerals" assignment and to earn a reasonable amount of experience and credits.


3 - Crashed Probe

Bypass the encryption on this crashed space probe to earn yourself a few more upgrades.


4 - Mercury Deposit

Survey this Mercury deposit to get one step closer to finishing the "Heavy Metals" section of the "UNC: Valuable Minerals" assignment and to earn a reasonable amount of experience and credits.


5 - Crashed Asari Capsule

You'll happen upon a crashed Asari space capsule here, complete with charred bodies lying on the ground around it. A successful recovery effort will uncover Matriarch Dilinaga's writings (one of ten writings needed for the "UNC: Asari Writings" assignment) for some experience and credits.


6 - Hidden Structure

A Pirate and a couple of Pirate Snipers guard the entrance to this "hidden structure". As it turns out, this is the hidden base of profiteer Tonn Actus, who you may recall is the Turian who took the Wrex family's ceremonial armor after the Krogan Rebellion. There's a fairly tough fight with Tonn and several more Pirates/Pirate Snipers waiting for you within, so save your game and then storm inside to recover the armor.

When the mercenary base has been cleaned out of all hostiles, search the ground floor for items contained in a Medical Kit, a crate, a malfunctioning object, and a hardened crate. Next, move up to the top floor to find more items contained within a Technician Kit, two Upgrade Kits, a Medical Kit, and a Wetware Kit. Decrypting the wall safe will earn you a couple of other items as well as Wrex's family armor. If he's in your squad, then he'll be quite appreciative to you for helping him find it. He'll then "grip his gun with renewed purpose" and you'll earn a significant amount of experience and credits for completing the assignment.
