Hunting Preserve

Overview

You enter the hunting preserve with Enno of Bardock. He is managing the estate for count Orsino of Falconhurst and needs your help multiple times in clearing up the island.


1 - Arrival

When you arrive Enno pays you the agreed upon sum, closing the Traveler quest and netting you 20AP.


2 - Master of the Hunt Fenner and Protector Enno of Bardock

Master of the Hunt Fenner can sell you some hunting goods, including a Stag Beetle Dagger recipe, as well as a lot of wood. He also provides you with the first target for the Hunting Party quest, the Stage Beetles at #2.

Enno of Bardock provides a list of the other targets: #2 the boars on a return visit, #3 the bear on a return visit and if you've visited the elven forst, and #4 the wolves on a return visit and if you have visited the Hammerberg.


3 - Giant Forest Beetles

Around 6 giant forest beetles hang around this area. Kill them and report back to Enno for 5D and 5AP.


4 - Wild Boars

Around 9 wild boards are in this area. Killing the last of them nets you the Wild Pig Hunting Trophy quest item. Return it to Enno for 7D 5T and 10 AP.


5 - Bear

A black bear is hunting for fish in the shallows. Kill it to gain the Bear Hunting Trophy, return it to Enno for 10D and 15AP.


6 - Wolves

The wolves are behind the blockade, so you will have to have had it cleared before this point. There's a pack of a white wolf, 5 gray wolves and 5 wolves here. Killing them all gets you the Wolf Hunting Trophy, returning it to Enno nets you 15D and 20 AP and closes the Hunting Party quest.


7 - Orks

A group of three orks and one ork archer. After this encounter, head back to Enno to open the quest a Plague of Orks.


8 - Orks

A group of three orks and three ork archers.


9 - Poison Traps

Two poison traps.


10 - Orks

A group of five orks and three ork archers.


11 - Orks and Ogre

A group of three orks, two ork archers and an ogre.


12 - Orks

A group of two orks and four ork archers.


13 - Orks and Ogres

A group of three orks, three ork archers and two ogres.


14 - Blockade

When all orks in the accessible area are dead, you get 10AP. A tree is blocking you off from the rest of the island. Report back to Enno (only after all orks are dead) for 10APs, and get his men to work on it. When you leave the map and return, the tree is gone.


15 - Orc Camp

The orc camp contains 8 orks, 3 ork archers and an ogre.

In the camp you'll find a locked hidden treasure chest. It contains 5D 6T, 2x Gruufhai, 1x Byakka and a Spiked Shield.


16 - Ambush

Two orks and an ork archer appear and attack you.


17 - Hidden Valley Orc Camp

Use Exit B to get to the Hidden Valley in the final orc camp. The orc camp contains an ork leader, an ork shaman, 5 orks, 2 ork archers and 3 ogres (two of 250 VI and one of 365 VI). Upon clearing out the last of the orks (or ogres), you receive 20AP.

In the camp you'll find a locked hidden treasure chest. It contains 5D 4T 1F, a Bone Helmet, a Wolf Skull Helmet, Fur Boots, Fur Arms Greaves and 57x Poisonous Arrow.

Report back to Enno to close the quest and receive 10AP and 10D.
