Is it "doable" to just use a monk or fighter to solo? or the solo character needs "thieving" skills

Are there any levels that requires the use of thieving skills to unlock chest to get keys in order to pass thru.

Create the Mace first

Why don't you just create the mace first? Then you don't have to worrie about loosing your metall because it's a part of the mace....

I was wondering if anyone knows where one can find ALL of the books that improve ones stats.

Reinstall

When ever I get a problem, I just reinstall the game. I copy my saved games first offcourse.

Other than that I'm not sure. My friend ones tried using a hammer, but it didn't work out that well so it's not recomended.

I like the BIG demon in Totsc. He's a diffecult opponent. I've never beat him and I can't install BG for some reason....

Bash?

Aren't there any spells that can bash him so that he flies away.... for example, when Firky uses his wings, your characters fly away....

Spellcaster

I've solod BG1 with a Cleric/Mage. You get all the stats uppgrades and a lot of spells. The only bad thing was that my computer really likes to annoy me by not working = I lost the character when I reinstalled everything on my computer. :mad: I couldn't continue with him in SOA...

Is Monks and Soc a choise

Can't you have 6 monks. I'm fond of their fists bashing on my enemies heads. And with soc you don't need to worry about the spells. You'll get them as soon as you level.

The best way to use mages in BG1 is to learn and use summoning spells. Magic missile is also the most use(according to me) spell in the game.

You can get the 10 k even if you decide not to have Nalia in your party while you are cleaning the keep. Just Talk to her when you are finished. She will give you the money!!

The stairs

Monk not getting better?

I have a problem with my monk. He is level 33 and is making a hard time for all that oppose hi,. But since level 24 he has samo problems. His MR doesn´t get any better. This also apply for THACO and saving thows. What´s wrong?

I´m mostly in to Magic, but I like a ass kicking fighter too. And it depends on what level the character is. A low fighter is better than a ...

Yeah, I have to try and patch it or something. I have read somewhere that it will help. I have the original game on my computer.
