The Giths never even summoned a Mordenkainen's Sword, so I guess I never really gave myself a chance to find the amulet. But as I know I have the latest patches, and I believe I have the FixPacks, I guess it wouldn't have dropped anyway. Thanks, Nephtu and Numinor.

Gith Amulet Not Appearing (SPOILER)

I have read (on this site) about a decent amulet that is supposed to fall from the Giths that you have to kill for the Hidden in Jan's quest. I went to the Giths, killed them both, but I didn't find any amulet at all. This is the first character that I have played through with Jan, so it is the ...

I know this isn't the same type of game as BGII, but Heroes of Might and Magic III is an excellent game. It's by far my favorite strategy game. The only problem: getting your hands on it. 3DO went out of business, I believe, and it came out in 2000. Plus a Heroes IV has come out (though it's much ...

I personally think that the two best fighters are probably the kensai and the berserker, not the wizard slayer and the barbarian. But if you are going to have Korgan in your party, you may want to go with either the kensai or one of ZOOT's picks to avoid redundancy.

Only the legs are in the tomb in the Cult. The torso is in a completely different tomb (but it looks exactly like the other two), in a house in the bridge district. You have to acquire all of the pieces before being able to fight Kangaxx.

Edit: I really have to brush up on the old reading ...

I believe that the Mana bow is actually found much later in the game, before Suldenesslar in a little cave.

And about the Beljuril, yes, you can use it in the upgrades of the Silver Horn of Valhalla, IIRC.

It's not just you. That same thing has happened to me at that exact same moment, so you're not alone. I wish I could tell you some clever way of keeping that from happening, but all I could do was just load up a save and beat him again.

I tested it for you. Yes, AR2900 got me straight to the Nine Hells. But, try it on your machine as well as AR1512 did NOT get me to Lady Galvena's Festhall, but rather to the portal room on the first floor of the Asylum Dungeon. But AR2900 should work.

Oh, and I can't help you with ShadowKeeper.

AR2900 is the value to put in the console to go to the Nine Hells, IIRC.

Does Sola have his moonblade? I believe, please correct me if I'm wrong, that Solaufein will either get his moonray ability or his moonblade item, depending on your game choices.

I know this may seem basic and obvious, but I've seen this happen before where if you have multiple disc drives on your computer, and you alternate the disks in the drives (putting CD1 in drive 1, then when it asks for CD2, putting it in drive 2 and leaving CD 1 in drive 1, etc.) the installation ...

FoA is the Flail of Ages.

UH kit is the Paladin Undead Hunter kit.

SoM is the Staff of the Magi.

I assume you know the usual AC, magic resistance, etc.

Why are you going to put in Viconia? She creates all kinds of problems for party chemistry. She won't be too happy to be allied with your lawful good paladin PC, especially when you start raising your reputation. There is one other problem, which will be under the "Spoilers" at the bottom. If you ...

The Item Upgrade mod also improves the Holy Avenger's dispel magic ability to that of the Staff of the Magi, IIRC. That was the main reason why I dowloaded it.

Also, for the first three chapters of the game (which could be VERY long, depending on your chosen optional quests), you will have three clerics. One cleric is usually enough (especially if that cleric is Viconia with her 18 WIS), and two is even being on the cautious side, but three is just ...

I checked my configurations, and it said that all three of the bars were set to maximum PC, and the pathfinding nodes were 40,000, just like you said. I un-configured then re-configured the pathfinding, hoping to try to jog the game memory a little. I don't know what's wrong. I'll keep looking ...

The belt of inertial barrier also helps tremendously in the Beholder lairs, IIRC, especially in the Cult of the Unseeing Eye dungeon, when you won't have the Cloak of Mirroring yet.

Thanks, Fable. I tried your idea in the Temple District (where going to the Radiant Heart from the entrace always seems to not work), and the only thing I could come up with was that a commoner might have been standing in the way, but moved out of the way by the time I got there going one movement ...
