Our grade: C. This perk helps to make up for the difference in damage been laser weapons and plasma weapons, which is useful... but you could also just stick with plasma weapons.

You have unraveled some of the greatest mysteries of pre-war masters: formulae for developing special Nuka-Colas! This perk unlocks special Nuka-Cola recipes at the Workbench.
Your attacks do much less damage to companions, allowing you to liberally spray an area with reckless abandon.
Our grade: D. This perk reduces the damage you do to your companions by 75%, but it's only really useful in hardcore mode, where your companions can actually die. Or perhaps you'd find it useful if you plan to combine Rex and Explosives. But for most characters, it won't make any difference if you accidentally knock out your companions. They'll just get right back up after the fight, good as new.
