I cast this every now and again and noticed that despite a wisdom of 28 and GSF: Necromancy, my cleric hardly ever killed anyone with this spell.

No, you need four or five other gems in another area of the game to open a door. That's enough said, however. And they are plentiful on that map.

How much damage does Arterial Strike do? You have to sacrifice 1d6 sneak attack damage to use it and if it only does 1 hp damage every round, I think...
