Background

You'll trigger this quest when you loot the corpse just to the east of Fireburst Harbor in Velen North (#1).


Walkthrough

The corpse will have an Unsent Letter in its possession. When you read the letter, you'll learn that a treasure chest can be found in the water to the south (#2). You'll have to deal with a couple of drowners in the area, but they should be easy to defeat with your crossbow. Inside the chest you'll find a leveled version of the Harvall steel sword. Looting the chest will complete the quest.
